Full Time Power Repair Technician/Maintenance Person

Candidate will be responsible mainly for repairing electric and battery operated power tools and equipment.  

Repairs include drills, saws, impact wrenches, rotary hammers, grinders, and other types of power tools.  

Experience in electric power tool repair is required.  Candidate must be able to work independently, and be able to diagnose, disassemble, repair and reassemble power tools and equipment.  Candidates for this position must be patient and detail oriented, have excellent maintenance and diagnostic skills, and a strong work ethic. 

At times when tool repairs are few, additional duties will require general maintenance skills such as simple plumbing and electrical repair, simple automotive maintenance, and lawn mowing. Candidate will also assist, at times, with general warehouse duties, such as unloading of trucks and restocking of merchandise.

-Diagnosis and repair of battery powered and electric power tools 

-General facilities maintenance, including light plumbing and electrical repairs, lawn mowing, etc. 

-Occasional warehouse duties, such as receiving and restocking of merchandise 

-Occasionally make deliveries of merchandise to our customers during peak periods   

Qualifications:  

-Experience in electric motor diagnosis and repair Previous tool repair experience 

-Extremely organized, patient, and detail oriented  Great at listening and problem solving 

-Ability to disassemble, diagnose, repair and reassemble electric and battery operated power tools 

-Ability to lift up to 75 lbs at times 

-Ability to drive a forklift will be helpful 

-Valid Driver’s License, good, clean driving record, proof of insurability , legal US Citizen,  Drug Free 

-Knowledge of, and/or previous work experience in, commercial construction, including electrical work, plumbing, and/or HVAC would be helpful
